The escalating conflict in Ukraine has put thousands of children and families in danger. They are deprived of basic human rights, including a plate of food, a day. Close to 8 million children in Ukraine are now suffering insecurity, and among the foremost concerns is hunger.
Akshaya Patra Food Relief at Ground Zero:
Our first pit stop upon travel from London will be at the Ukraine - Poland border, where hundreds of thousands of meals are the need of the hour. We shall serve dry, cooked and semi-cooked food where appropriate. Our experience over years of evolving food relief measures to fit the situation during an emergency - as we did during the Covid pandemic, Nepal Earthquake, and Uttarakhand floods in India won’t be enough. We will need you. Please give generously, as you always have.
If you'd like to deliver food and grocery items to our kitchen in Watford, please get in touch first please, by calling 020 80048745. Thank you.
