We are always very happy to welcome visitors to our UK kitchen, located in Watford to the north-west of London. If you’d like to make a group visit alongside other supporters of Akshaya Patra, please keep an eye out for news of our next Open House event on the news and events page.
Alternatively, we are pleased to host our supporters – and anyone interested in learning more about our mission – at their convenience. We ask that you contact us in advance to arrange the time, so that we can ensure there is a warm welcome and a hot meal waiting for you.
INDIA KITCHENS
Akshaya Patra operates 70 high-capacity kitchens in 18 states or union territories across India, which serve our nutritious meals in more than 24,000 schools.
If you’re going to be travelling in India, somewhere close to one of our facilities, and would like to receive a tour of one of our kitchens, please contact us and we will be delighted to coordinate with the local Akshaya Patra team to organise your visit. It is always our pleasure to demonstrate to our supporters the fruits of more than two decades of engineering and innovation, constantly working to ensure our kitchens deliver the highest quality meals on a cost-efficient basis.
