The story of Akshaya Patra’s development – from feeding 1,500 children in 2000 to reaching more than 2 million hungry little ones in school today – is an incredibly joyful, uplifting and inspiring one. You can invite one of our staff members, or a volunteer Akshaya Patra Ambassador, to talk at your event about our journey so far, the urgent continued need for our work, and our plans to grow our mission in the future.
Whether your event is a small or large one, and in person or online, we will be pleased to make a trained Akshaya Patra speaker available to deliver an engaging talk and answer any questions from your attendees. Please contact us, with as much notice as possible, telling us about your event and letting us know your requirements.
Host a High Chai
Akshaya Patra’s High Chai initiative is a great way to bring people together and raise awareness for a powerful cause.
You can host an event anytime and anywhere – whether it is an event at your local community centre or a friendly gathering at your house, choosing an agenda that suits you best. Over chai, (or coffee!) a representative of the Akshaya Patra UK team will be delighted to share the meaningful and joyful story of our work and mission.
However you choose to host, your efforts will help us change the lives of disadvantaged children. Your High Chai meet can become the reason why many children get nourished and reach their full potential!
